Terms

Short terms, because there is little to argue about.

Last reviewed September 2026. What the app does with your writing is set out in detail on the privacy page.

01

Your writing is yours

You own every entry, person note, event and conversation you save. Nothing you write is used to train a model, sold, or shared with anyone. We claim no licence over it beyond storing and showing it back to you.

02

What the app is for

A personal diary, calendar and record of the people in your life. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and the assistant is a thinking partner rather than a professional. Decisions remain yours.

03

Use it reasonably

One account is for one person. Do not use the diary to store content that is unlawful, or to attempt to reach anyone else's account or the systems behind the app.

04

The assistant has limits

It can be wrong, and it works only from what you have written. It never reads a private entry. Where it is unsure, it asks rather than asserts. Monthly assistant capacity can pause; writing and reading always keep working.

05

Availability

The app is offered as it is, and we cannot promise it is never unavailable. Keep your own copy of anything you could not bear to lose — every entry can be copied out at any time.

06

Ending things

You can delete any entry, or your whole account, whenever you like; deletion is immediate and takes the data drawn from it with it. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why where we can.

07

Changes

If these terms or the privacy inventory change in a way that matters, the change appears on the site before it takes effect, with the review date updated.
